Paediatric 台湾swag Dr Chris Anderson won this year鈥檚 Patient Experience Award. This award is chosen by members of the community and was presented at 台湾swag NHS Foundation Trust鈥檚 Staff Awards ceremony, held last week.
He won the award for often going above and beyond, and his ability to effortlessly coordinate with his team whilst maintaining the dignity of and respect for his patients.
This is a special award with nominations from patients and other members of the public for hospital staff who have made a significant impact upon improving the patient experience, either for an individual patient in their work department or for the wider Trust.
Chief Executive Stacey Hunter said:听鈥淭he Staff Awards are a significant event in our annual calendar.听 This year the patient experience award was enthusiastically embraced by our local community. The award offered the opportunity to applaud our hard-working and committed people and the efforts they make in providing compassionate care for our patients.鈥�

This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
